Cotton Market News and Commentary

Cotton futures are showing 15-16 point losses in the front months on Wednesday, with deferred contracts a few points higher. The Cotlook A Index was down 15 points at 86.90 on April 2. The weekly Export Sales report will be released on Thursday. Traders will be watching for sales to China. The trade is also keeping an eye on the US/China trade talks going on in DC this week. The USDA Adjusted World Price (AWP) is 68.23 cents/lb, good through Thursday.

Jul 19 Cotton is at 77.88, down 15 points

Mar 20 Cotton is at 76.780, up 4 points
